Simon's Town is steeped in naval and cultural history and well worth a visit. Visit one of the many excellent restaurants in town or play golf at nearby Clovelly or Westlake Golf Club. The famous Cape of Good Hope - Africa's most south-westerly point - is just 20 km from the Albatross. You can spend a full day exploring the wonders of the Cape Floral Kingdom. There a several hiking, birdwatching and photographic options, including visiting the African Penguin colony.
