The rooms are under thatched roofs and are built with stone. They are en-suite and feature a small desk area. All the rooms, except the standard rooms, are built in a village style.

The world renowned Carnivore Restaurant is situated at Misty Hills Country Hotel and offers set menus for lunch and dinner. Enter the restaurant over a teak walkway bordered by water features and a moat, into an entrance hall clad in giant bamboo reeds and African art.
The African theme is carried into the restaurant, where a circular fire with 52 Masaai tribal spears holding a variety of meats is the central attraction. Taste a variety of meats, from beef to crocodile and zebra, all gently roasting and waiting for you to begin your beast of a feast. You may eat as much as you wish. When you have had enough surrender by lowering a flag on your table. All items are delivered to your table starting with homemade soup, and followed by other dishes. A full vegetarian meal is available. The restaurant is also accessible for wheelchair users.
The second restaurant is the Summerhouse Restauarant. It is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Food is served as a buffet or as table d'hote, depending on hotel occupancies. |

Activities in and around the area include game drives at the rhino and lion park, and visits to the caves (Sterkfontein and Wonder Caves).
Spend a day fishing at the Rainbow Trout Farm, or embark on a hiking and horse trail. For an adrenalin rush, try go-kart racing, hot air ballooning, the 4x4 playground or the casinos.
Ngwenya Glass: Glassblowing and Arts and Crafts Village is worth a visit, as is the Cradle of Humankind historic site. If you feel like shopping, there are shopping centres in the surrounding areas.

By Car:
From Johannesburg International Airport:
- Take the R24 Johannesburg Road. Stay on the left-hand side of the road.
- Then take the N3 toward North Pretoria. You will reach an interchange.
- Take the N1 South Roodepoort/Bloemfontein route.
- Take the Beyers Naude exit ramp and turn towards Honeydew.
- Continue past Garden World. After Garden World and Oakfield Farm the road becomes 2 lanes again.
- Turn left at the first road left in Drift Boulevard/ Muldersdrift R114.
- The hotel is about 800 metres down the road on the right.
