This luxurious lodge is beautifully situated within the Suni Ridge Nature Park which contains a variety of wildlife species, 20 km from the small town of Hluhluwe.

With such a convenient location, set within the area of the Isimangiliso Wetland Park previously named the Greater St. Lucia Wetland Park, the surrounding area features a range of attractions and sporting activities in the vicinity. The lodge is easily accessible as it is strategically positioned down a surfaced road. Scuba diving and snorkelling is possible at the Sodwana Bay Marine Park 55 minutes away. The Big Five game reserves are within a 30 minute drive from the lodge at the Hlulhuwe Umfolozi Park.

However the stunning scenery and animals can be seen from the lodge; there is a wonderful viewing deck where you can also enjoy the sun and moon rise, the perfect place to experience the true atmosphere of South Africa.

Room Information
The well-appointed Out of Africa accommodation is situated at the edge of a unique sand forest. All of the rooms are furnished comfortably with en suite bathrooms and the honeymoon suite features an outdoor jacuzzi, where in the evening you may relax under the dazzling stars.

Food and Beverages
Enjoy delicious South African cuisine during meals at the lounge and dining facility, which overlooks the waterhole where animals can be observed whilst they come to drink. Tales and experiences of the day may be exchanged over cocktails at the relaxing trackers bar. Make sure that you see the spectacular view of the sunrise or, from the Moonrise Deck in the evening, take in the majestic sight of the full moon rising over the African bush.

Area Information
Surrounding the lodge there is an interesting eco-tourism area; with many vast areas still wild and rugged, Zululand boasts the largest concentration of world-renowned game reserves in South Africa. Visit the Mkuze or Umfolozi Hluhluwe game reserves and encounter the endangered black rhino, as well as white rhino, buffalo and elephants. Lions and leopards may also be seen.

There are horse trails to False Bay and at Sodwana Bay, which offers snorkelling and scuba diving at one of the best coral reefs in the world. Cycling and abseiling are available on the nearby Lubombo mountains. The more adventurous can canoe down a pristine river past hippo and crocodiles.

Travel Information
By Car:
- Off the N2 highway in Kwa Zulu Natal, take the Hluhluwe/Sodwana Bay exit.
- Travel through the town of Hluhluwe 23 km from the lodge.
- Follow the R22, clearly marked in the town, towards Sodwana Bay.
- Travel 18 km and take a right onto the D553 district road.
- Travel 3 km and follow the signs to Leopard Walk Lodge.
