Milkwood lies at the foot of Fernkloof Nature Reserve backed by the Mosselberg Mountains and is a 5-minute walk from Grotto Beach and the cliff-top path. It features free Wi-Fi.

By car:
- Take the N2 and continue past the Airport to Somerset West.
- Either follow the N2 over Sir Lowrys Pass, turning onto the R43 after the Houwhoek Pass, or take the R44 along the coast and turn onto the R43 to Hermanus.
- Pass through the first traffic circle and you will enter the business centre.
- Just past the Marine Hotel on your right you will enter a second circle.
- Carry straight on and Main Road becomes Seventh Street at this point.
- Milkwood Lodge is 1.1 km further along on the left side of the road.
- Drive past Milkwood Lodge and turn left into 10th Avenue, left into 6th Street and then left into 9th Avenue.
- You will see the entrance to Milkwood Lodge on your right hand side.
- Coming from the Garden Route, follow the N2 past Swellendam and
Riviersonderend.
- 10 km past Riviersonderend, turn onto the R326 in the direction of
Stanford.
- At Stanford, turn right onto the R43.
- Approximately 1,3 km after the Welcome to Hermanus sign you will see
Milkwood Lodge on your right-hand side. |
