From Cape Town International Airport:
- Take the N2 motorway towards Somerset West.
- Turn left onto the R300 link road - follow it until it joins the N1, direction Paarl.
- Turn off at Junction 47*, (the R44 and the second exit to Stellenbosch.).
- Turn right at the bottom of the off-ramp , under the motorway and across the R101.
- Cross the railway, and then take the next left, the R45 to Franschhoek, just past a blue and white building called Tahieras Superette.
- Follow this road until you reach a T junction just after crossing the railway again.
- Turn right for Franschhoek, and keep straight on up the valley for about 20kms until you arrive in the village.
- Carry on up the main street past the shops and restaurants until you come to a T junction in front of the Huguenot Monument.
- Turn right, and then first left up Middagkrans Road (a gravel road which turns to tarmac).
- La Cabrière Country House is the first property on the left, set back behind a stand of vines, and accessed up Park Lane.
