Set in a historical building and located only 1,5 km from the beaches of the Indian Ocean, this luxurious boutique hotel offers individually decorated rooms and a landscaped garden terrace.
The rooms at the Saint James on Venice are elegantly furnished and breathe a warm atmosphere. Glass stained decorated windows offer views of the century old St James Church or the garden patio.
All rooms are equipped with a flatscreen satellite TV. The bathroom contains fluffy bathrobes and body care products such as sea salt and marine extract shampoo. A hairdryer is also available.
The Saint James restaurant offers a wide range of à la carte lunch and dinner meals that can be enjoyed on the garden patio. The St James also hosts high tea afternoons.

Directions from King Shaka Airport:
* From the King Shaka Airport take the N2 south road towards Durban/Umhlanga.
* Take the R4 towards La Mercy. You will pass through the Toll plaza. *The toll is R4.00 for a normal vehicle.
* Then follow the N2 Durban toll road towards Durban.
* Take the M27 Verulam/Umdloti turn off, keep left. Then take glide off to your left towards Umdloti.
* From there turn right onto M4 Umhlanga.
* You will pass Sibaya Casino on your right hand side. At the turning circle, go straight through towards M4 Durban.
* Then you will see the Suncoast Casino on your left hand side, just after you see the Casino you will approach an intersection.
* At this intersection turn right onto the M17 (Sandile Thusi Road).
* You will then go through 5 sets of traffic lights.
* At the sixth set turn right into Florida Road.
* Follow that road until you pass a sets of traffic lights and on the second traffic light, you will turn right onto to innes road.
* Proceed until you reach the first set of traffic lights then turn left onto Venice road.
* The hotel is on your right hand side. |
