Situated in peaceful Tamboerskloof, this small boutique guest house is 15 minutes walk from central Cape Town. It has an outdoor pool and offers free Wi-Fi throughout the hotel.
All guest rooms at An African Villa feature air conditioning, a flat-screen satellite TV and facilities for making hot drinks. Some rooms also have a balcony providing views of Table Mountain.

From Cape Town International Airport
- Take the N2 towards the city and then follow signs towards cableway.
- On reaching the T-junction at buitengraght street turn left (still
towards toward the cableway)
- The road is now a dual carriageway and soon changes name to new
church street.
- At the next traffic light (which is a fairly big intersection with several roads
interconnecting) the name changes once again to kloofnek road (see
Tamboerskloof pharmacy on the left).
- At this intersection turn right and then immediately right once again going
back the way you came.
- This road is the one down from the cableway and is called upper
buitengracht (see a park on your left) turn left into the second road
which is CARSTENS STREET.
