Overlooking Cape Town's Table Bay, Shenandoah is located in a peaceful part of Bloubergstrand and offers 3 spacious rooms. The guesthouse also features in-house spa treatments, an outdoor pool and a sun terrace.
Shenandoah offers excellent views of Table Bay, Robben Island, Table Mountain and Cape Town. Each modern guest room has an en-suite bathroom, digital TV, mini bar, hair dryer and tea/coffee making facilities. Two rooms have a private balcony and one room has a pool-side patio.
Breakfast is served each day and a home-cooked dinner can be provided upon request. The guesthouse can also arrange activities, including paragliding and skydiving.
The beaches at Bloubergstrand offer a variety of water sports, including natural tidal pools. There are plenty of beachfront bistros and restaurants available. Cape Towns CBD, Table Mountain cable-way station and V&A Waterfront are 25 minutes drive away. |

From Cape Town International Airport/Garden Route:
- Proceed out of airport to N2 highway, then proceed right onto N2 towards Cape Town.
- Take Vanguard Drive/Goodwood (N7) off-ramp. At top of the off-ramp 2nd set of traffic lights, turn right (over N2 highway).
- Proceed straight along N7 and then take M14 Plattekloof Road off-ramp (petrol refinery right in front of you at traffic lights). Turn left at robot.
- Proceed down to T-junction robot (Koeberg Road -M5) and then proceed right (to Tableview/Bloubergstrand).
- At 2nd set of traffic lights (with Kilarney Hotel on the left side), proceed left into Blaauwberg Road (M14) and then straight down to the beach (to roundabout).
- At the roundabout, stay to the right (you are now in Marine Drive, running parallel to the sea/beach).
- Staying on Marine Drive proceed past Doodles restaurant on your right (about 700 metres).
- Take first street right after Doodles being Perlemoen Road (just before tall block of flats on your left).
- Just after turning right into Perlemoen Road you will come to a T-junction. Proceed right up a short hill until reaching a stop street at the top of the hill.
- Proceed straight over the stop street - you are now in Gull Road and the guest home is the 4th house on the right side.
From Cape Town CBD / V&A Waterfront:
- Take the N1 leading out of Cape Town city towards Paarl.
- About 1 km out of town take the off-ramp marked Milnerton being the R27. This will take you onto Marine Drive which winds up northwards along the West Coast.
- Travel ± 10km along the R27 until you reach Blaauwberg Road, which is the M14.
- Turn left into Blaauwberg Road and continue about 2 km all the way to the beach where you will come to a roundabout.
- Turn right at the roundabout into Marine Drive and travel exactly 2 km until you come to Perlemoen Street on your right side.
- Turn right into Perlemoen Street and after 50metres you will come to a T-junction, where you again turn right and proceed up a short hill until reaching a stop street at the top of the hill.
- Proceed straight over the stop street - you are now in Gull Road and the guest house the 4th house on the right side.
From the West Coast Namibia/Saldanha/Langebaan/Yserfontein:
- Travel southwards along the R27 (West Coast Highway) towards Cape Town.
- ± 20 km before Cape Town, turn right towards Melkbosstrand along the M14. This road winds through Melkbosstrand and becomes Marine Drive.
- Keep travelling along Marine Drive for ± 8km. You will go through two roundabouts and then about 1km after the second roundabout you will see a very large block of flats (20 storeys high) on your right side.
- ± 100 metres after passing these flats and staying in Marine Drive turn left into Perlemoen Street.
- After 50 metres you will come to a T-junction where you turn right and proceed up a short hill until reaching a stop street at the top of the hill.
- Proceed straight over the stop street - you are now in Gull Road and the guest house is the 4th house on the right side. |
